Official Bio
Chealsea Wierbonski is a seasoned technology professional with nearly 30 years of experience working for leading internet technology companies in New York City and Silicon Valley, including Google, DoubleClick, and McAfee. Originally from West Virginia, Chealsea graduated Cum Laude from West Virginia University in 1995 with a B.A. in Philosophy and a specialization in African American Studies.

Chealsea spent the first decade of her career as a technical writer before transitioning to product management. In addition to public speaking, writing, and coaching, Chealsea also holds a position at Google, where she is a senior product leader.

Chealsea has spoken at numerous events and industry conferences, including the Grace Hopper Celebration, RockIT Women In Tech Conference, Local Media Association Fest, Local Media Consortium Conference, and AdMonsters, and has spoken at fireside chats at Google and Sailthru, as well as at Columbia University. In October of 2023, Chealsea gave an inspirational keynote talk at West Virginia University about her personal journey from first-generation college student to senior product leader at Google.

As the daughter of a coal miner and a first generation college student, Chealsea struggled a lot early on in her career. Her non-traditional background and working class upbringing created a mindset that was filled with limitations around her abilities and self worth. After a few painful career setbacks, Chealsea realized that in order to have the kind of life she wanted, she'd need to do some deep inner work to shift her mindset.
Chealsea is now dedicated to sharing the insights and strategies that she used to navigate this journey from a first generation college student in Appalachia to the successful female leader that she is today.
Chealsea aims to empower women with the tools and confidence necessary to become strong and capable leaders in all aspects of their lives.
