Official Bio

Chealsea Wierbonski is a Keynote Speaker, Writer, and Career Transformation Coach with nearly 30 years of experience working for leading internet technology companies in New York City and Silicon Valley, including Google, DoubleClick, and McAfee. Originally from West Virginia, Chealsea graduated Cum Laude from West Virginia University in 1995 with a B.A. in Philosophy and a specialization in African American Studies.

Chealsea spent the first decade of her career as a technical writer before transitioning to product management, with a two-year pivot into UX design along the way. Over the past 13 years, she has held senior product leadership roles at Google, where she has led diverse teams and driven impactful projects in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

As the daughter of a coal miner and a first-generation college graduate, Chealsea understands the unique challenges of navigating male-dominated industries while building a fulfilling career. Early in her journey, she struggled with self-doubt, imposter syndrome, and limiting beliefs about her place in the workplace.

 

After a few painful career setbacks, she realized that external success wasn’t enough—true transformation required a shift in mindset. Through deep inner work, Chealsea built the confidence to take bold steps in her career, leading to personal and professional breakthroughs.

Today, Chealsea is passionate about helping ambitious women overcome self-doubt to make bold career moves, whether that means stepping into leadership, changing directions, or starting something new. Through her coaching, public speaking, and online courses, she equips women with the tools and strategies they need to align their careers with their true potential.

Chealsea has spoken at numerous events and industry conferences, including the Grace Hopper Celebration, RockIT Women in Tech Conference, Local Media Association Fest, Local Media Consortium Conference, and AdMonsters. She has also participated in fireside chats at Google and Sailthru and delivered talks at Columbia University. In October 2023, she gave an inspirational keynote at West Virginia University, sharing her personal journey from first-generation college student in Appalachia to senior product leader at Google.
